Buckethead in Estes Park

Buckethead is the stage identity of American guitarist Brian Patrick Carroll, born in 1969 and known for instrumental experimental rock and metal, as well as funk, ambient and acoustic music. His white mask and bucket form his signature appearance, while albums including Colma, Monsters and Robots and Crime Slunk Scene contain pieces such as “Soothsayer” and “Jordan.” He also played guitar in Guns N’ Roses and appears on Chinese Democracy. In 2001, Buckethead performed with Guns N’ Roses at Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro. He then played dates on the group’s Chinese Democracy Tour in 2002 before concentrating again on concerts under his own name in clubs and theaters. A solo Buckethead show centers on electric guitar accompanied by prerecorded backing tracks; robot dancing and nunchaku demonstrations have also been recurring parts of his performances. He toured and recorded with That 1 Guy as the Frankenstein Brothers.
