Budka Suflera in Lodz

Budka Suflera is a Polish rock band formed in Lublin in 1974. Long associated with singer Krzysztof Cugowski and keyboardist and composer Romuald Lipko, the group is known for songs including “Jolka, Jolka pamiętasz,” “Takie tango” and “Bal wszystkich świętych,” as well as the albums Cień wielkiej góry and Nic nie boli, tak jak życie. In 1999, Budka Suflera performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, a concert later released as Live at Carnegie Hall. The band marked its 30th anniversary in 2004 with an open-air concert at Kraków’s Błonia.
