Bruno & Marrone in Fortaleza

Bruno & Marrone are a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in Goiânia in 1986. Their romantic repertoire includes “Dormi na Praça,” “Por Um Minuto,” “Vida Vazia” and “Choram as Rosas.” Acústico ao Vivo arrived in 2001 and established concert recordings as a recurring part of their work. A 2002 recording documented their performance at Olympia in São Paulo, and they later returned to the format for the bar-room project De Volta aos Bares. Bruno & Marrone perform as a vocal duo backed by a full band. The arrangement centers Bruno’s lead singing and Marrone’s harmony voice and accordion.
