Cæcilie Norby in Sønder Bindslev

Cæcilie Norby is a Danish jazz singer, born in Frederiksberg in 1964. She first sang with the jazz-rock group Frontline and the pop duo OneTwo, then became the first Danish artist signed to Blue Note Records. Her solo catalogue includes the albums Cæcilie Norby and My Corner of the Sky. Cæcilie Norby has toured in a duo with Swedish bassist and cellist Lars Danielsson, a partnership also documented on Just the Two of Us. She later led Sisters in Jazz, an international all-women ensemble created as both a concert and recording project. Outside Copenhagen, she has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands.
