Calibro 35 in Genoa

Calibro 35 is an Italian instrumental band formed in Milan in 2007. Its cinematic funk draws on the sound of 1960s and 1970s crime films, alongside jazz and psychedelic rock. The group is known for albums including Calibro 35, Traditori di tutti and S.P.A.C.E. In 2016, Calibro 35 performed an NPR Tiny Desk Concert in Washington, D.C., presenting material from S.P.A.C.E. in a compact studio setting. The band has also recorded a live session for KEXP, performing as a full instrumental ensemble built around drums, bass, Massimo Martellotta’s guitar and Enrico Gabrielli’s keyboards and woodwinds.
