Carbon Based Lifeforms are a Swedish electronic duo formed in Gothenburg in 1996 by Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad. They make spacious ambient and downtempo music shaped by synthesizer sequences, restrained rhythms and sampled voices. Albums including Hydroponic Garden, World of Sleepers, Interloper and Derelicts established the sound for which the duo is known. At Ozora Festival in Hungary, Carbon Based Lifeforms presented their music as an extended electronic set. The duo documented its 2017 performance there on the concert release Live at Ozora 2017.
