Carlos Mencia in Oklahoma City

Carlos Mencia is a Honduran-born American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, born in 1967 and raised in East Los Angeles. He is best known as the creator and host of the Comedy Central series Mind of Mencia, and for stand-up centered on race, ethnicity, politics and American culture. In 2006, he recorded the stand-up special No Strings Attached at the Warfield in San Francisco. He later released Performance Enhanced and New Territory, and headlines comedy clubs and theatres around the United States.
