Carnifex & Extermination Dismemberment in Virginia Beach

Carnifex is an American deathcore band formed in San Diego in 2005. Built around harsh vocals, down-tuned guitars and death-metal weight, the group became known through albums including Dead in My Arms, Hell Chose Me and Die Without Hope, as well as songs such as “Lie to My Face” and “Hell Chose Me.” Carnifex joined the Summer Slaughter Tour in 2010, appearing on a lineup that included Decapitated, The Faceless and All Shall Perish. The band later performed on the 2014 Mayhem Festival and, in 2022, co-headlined the Chaos & Carnage tour with Suicide Silence.

Extermination Dismemberment is a Belarusian slamming brutal death metal band formed in Minsk in 2009. The band is known for the albums Butcher Basement, Serial Urbicide and Dehumanization Protocol, as well as the track “Protonemesis.” Its music centers on guttural vocals, down-tuned riffs and heavy breakdowns. Extermination Dismemberment have performed at Obscene Extreme in Trutnov, a Czech festival devoted to extreme metal. They have also appeared at Brutal Assault in Jaroměř.
