carolesdaughter is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Thea Taylor, who makes alternative pop shaped by emo and rap. She became known through “Violent” and followed it with the EP please put me in a medically induced coma, which also includes “My Mother Wants Me Dead” and “Trailer Trash.” In 2021, she supported Machine Gun Kelly on the Tickets to My Downfall Tour and performed at Lollapalooza. She moved into headline rooms the following year on The End of the World Tour.
