Carpenter Brut & HEALTH in Utrecht

Carpenter Brut is a French electronic music project created in 2012 by producer Franck Hueso. Its dark synthwave draws on horror-film scores, 1980s action cinema and heavy metal; the project is known for “Turbo Killer” and “Roller Mobster,” the early EP collection Trilogy, and the albums Leather Teeth and Leather Terror. The concert album CARPENTERBRUTLIVE documented the touring show in 2017. Hueso performs the material as part of a trio featuring electric guitar and live drums, a format taken to Coachella in 2018 and other major festival stages. The Leather Terror Tour followed in 2022.

HEALTH are an American band formed in Los Angeles in 2005. They play noise rock and electro-industrial music, using distorted guitars, electronics and forceful percussion. Their best-known work includes the albums Get Color, Death Magic and RAT WARS, the Max Payne 3 soundtrack, and songs such as “STONEFIST,” “NEW COKE” and “Major Crimes.” In 2008, HEALTH opened selected dates on Nine Inch Nails’ Lights in the Sky tour. They later co-headlined a North American tour with Perturbator in 2022, bringing their full-band setup to theatres and clubs. In 2024, they opened the North American Teeth of God tour for Sleep Token.
