Catupecu Machu is an Argentine alternative-rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1994 by brothers Fernando and Gabriel Ruiz Díaz. Hard-rock weight and electronic textures run through albums such as Dale! and Cuentos decapitados, while “Y lo que quiero es que pises sin el suelo,” “A veces vuelvo” and “Magia veneno” became signature songs. The band performed at Cosquín Rock and extended its live history beyond Argentina with an appearance at Rock al Parque in Bogotá. After a break of several years, Catupecu Machu returned to the stage in 2022 at Quilmes Rock.
