Celtas Cortos are a Spanish folk-rock band formed in Valladolid in 1986. Their music pairs rock songwriting with Celtic folk instruments, including violin and whistles, and they are best known for songs such as “20 de abril,” “Cuéntame un cuento,” “La senda del tiempo” and “Tranquilo majete.” The 1997 live album Nos vemos en los bares documented the band’s concert repertoire after a decade of touring. In 2016, Celtas Cortos celebrated their 30th anniversary with a hometown concert at Plaza Mayor.
