Chanel Beads in Saint Paul

Chanel Beads is an American experimental indie-pop project from New York led by songwriter and producer Shane Lavers. The project is known for the 2024 debut album Your Day Will Come, which includes “Police Scanner,” “Embarrassed Dog” and “Unifying Thought.” In 2024, Chanel Beads opened for Mount Kimbie on North American dates and later performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. These appearances brought the album into clubs and onto festival stages during its first year. The touring lineup has featured Lavers on guitar and vocals, singer Maya McGrory and violinist Zachary Paul.

Mechatok is a German electronic producer and composer, born Timur Tokdemir in Munich. His music moves between ambient textures, club rhythms and melodic rap production; key releases include the album All My Time, the game soundtrack Defective Holiday and Good Luck, his collaborative album with Bladee. In 2020, Mechatok and Bladee presented Good Luck in a livestreamed album-release performance. The digital concert brought the record’s electronic arrangements and vocals into a shared live set by Mechatok and Bladee.
