Charlene Kaye in Washington

Charlene Kaye is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Honolulu. She writes indie pop and rock songs with folk elements; her releases include the albums Things I Will Need in the Past and Animal Love, followed by the EP Honey under the name KAYE. On Darren Criss’s 2013 Listen Up Tour, she opened the shows and played guitar in his band. She later spent several years touring as a lead vocalist for San Fermin, whose appearances during that period included Lollapalooza and Firefly Music Festival.
