Charlie Cunningham in Hamburg

Charlie Cunningham is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist whose indie-folk songs are built around intricate fingerpicked guitar and understated vocals. After spending time in Seville and studying flamenco guitar, he released the albums Lines, Permanent Way and Frame. “Minimum” and “Lights Off” are among his best-known songs. Touring around Lines took Charlie Cunningham through clubs and theatres in Britain and mainland Europe, including London’s Union Chapel. He returned to European stages after Permanent Way and later performed material from Frame, visiting German cities including Hamburg, Munich and Cologne.
