Charlie Musselwhite is an American blues singer, harmonica player and guitarist, born in 1944 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He joined the Chicago blues scene in the early 1960s and made his album debut with Stand Back! Here Comes Charley Musselwhite's Southside Band. The instrumental “Christo Redemptor” became a signature piece in his repertoire. In 1976, Charlie Musselwhite performed at The Band’s farewell concert, The Last Waltz, at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. After recording Get Up! with Ben Harper, he toured with Harper and appeared at the White House’s Memphis Soul concert in 2013. They toured together again following No Mercy in This Land, where Charlie Musselwhite sang and played harmonica while Ben Harper sang and played guitar.
Kirk Fletcher is an American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter born in Bellflower, California, in 1975. His electric blues draws on West Coast blues, soul and rock, and his catalogue includes the albums My Turn, Hold On, My Blues Pathway and Heartache by the Pound. He is also known for his work with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, the Mannish Boys and Joe Bonamassa. During the 2000s, Fletcher performed with the Mannish Boys and toured as lead guitarist for the Fabulous Thunderbirds. He later played guitar on Bonamassa’s 2015 Three Kings tour, whose Los Angeles concert was filmed and released as Live at the Greek Theatre.
