Charlotte de Witte in Chicago

Charlotte de Witte is a Belgian DJ and producer born in Ghent in 1992. She first released music as Raving George, including “You’re Mine” with Oscar and the Wolf, before adopting her own name for dark, stripped-back techno. The EPs Weltschmerz, The Healer and Return to Nowhere, together with her KNTXT label, established the sound associated with her work. In 2015, she started KNTXT nights at Fuse in Brussels. She subsequently performed at Tomorrowland, Awakenings and Movement Detroit, and later brought KNTXT to Sportpaleis in Antwerp. In 2024, she returned to her home city for a ten-hour overnight set at Flanders Expo in Ghent.
