Artist
Charlotte Wessels is a Dutch singer-songwriter, born in Zwolle in 1987, who is best known for fronting the symphonic metal band Delain from 2005 to 2021. Her voice appears on albums including April Rain, We Are the Others and Moonbathers. Her solo work ranges across pop rock and progressive metal on Tales from Six Feet Under, its second volume and The Obsession. As Delain’s vocalist, she toured internationally and joined Nightwish’s 2015 North American tour. After leaving the group, she presented her solo material with a full band at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht in 2022, accompanied by musicians including former Delain guitarist Timo Somers.
