Chicane is a British electronic-music project created in 1995 by producer Nick Bracegirdle. Its melodic trance and ambient catalogue is best known for “Offshore,” “Saltwater” featuring Máire Brennan and “Don’t Give Up” with Bryan Adams, as well as the album Behind the Sun. The Behind the Sun period took Chicane on tour with a live band, adapting the project’s studio recordings for concert performance. That format has appeared at Glastonbury Festival, while Nick Bracegirdle has also presented Chicane through DJ sets at Creamfields.
