Chief Keef is an American rapper and producer born in Chicago in 1995, closely associated with the emergence of drill music. He became known through “I Don’t Like” and “Love Sosa,” both included on his 2012 debut album, Finally Rich. In 2015, a hologram performance by Chief Keef at Craze Fest in Hammond was cut short by police minutes after it began. He subsequently performed at editions of Rolling Loud, and in 2024 he returned to his hometown area for his first local concert in more than a decade, headlining Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash.
