Chilly Gonzales in Heidelberg

Chilly Gonzales is a Canadian pianist, composer, rapper and producer born in Montreal in 1972. He is best known for the intimate instrumental music of his Solo Piano albums, alongside electronic and hip-hop records such as Ivory Tower, and has collaborated extensively with Feist and Peaches. In 2009, he played a marathon solo concert at Ciné 13 Théâtre in Paris that set a Guinness World Record for the longest solo-artist performance. He later brought the Solo Piano repertoire to theatres and concert halls, while performances following Chambers placed him at the piano beside Hamburg string ensemble Kaiser Quartett.
