Artist
Chinese Football are a Chinese emo and math-rock band formed in Wuhan in 2011. Their intricate guitar lines and melodic, emotionally direct songwriting are documented on the self-titled album Chinese Football and the releases Here Comes a New Challenger!, Continue? and Win&Lose. In 2019, Chinese Football supported American Football on dates in China, bringing together the two bands whose names had long invited comparison. Their first European tour followed in 2023, taking them through clubs in the UK and continental Europe and to a performance at ArcTanGent.
