About Chitãozinho & Xororó
Chitãozinho & Xororó are a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in 1969 by brothers José Lima Sobrinho and Durval de Lima. Their best-known songs include “Evidências,” “Fio de Cabelo,” “No Rancho Fundo” and “Sinônimos,” a repertoire spanning traditional sertanejo and romantic ballads.
In the 1990s, the duo performed in the Amigos concert project with Leandro & Leonardo and Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano, bringing the three duos together for major live shows and television specials. They later documented four decades of their repertoire in the 40 Anos Entre Amigos concert, recorded at Via Funchal in São Paulo.
