Chris Cagle is an American country singer and songwriter who was born in Louisiana and raised in Texas. His debut album, Play It Loud, introduced songs including “My Love Goes On and On” and “Laredo”; he is also known for “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out,” “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It.” A concert at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth was documented in the Live at Billy Bob’s Texas series, capturing his full-band stage show. After retiring from touring in 2015 to spend more time with his family, Chris Cagle returned to concert work in 2019.
