Chris Hopkins in Isernhagen Farster Bauerschaft

Chris Hopkins is an American jazz pianist and saxophonist, born in Princeton in 1972 and raised in Germany. His work centres on swing, stride piano and traditional jazz; he is known as a co-founder of the quartet Echoes of Swing and as the leader of Chris Hopkins & Young Lions. After forming Echoes of Swing in the late 1990s, Chris Hopkins toured internationally with the quartet in jazz clubs, concert halls and at festivals. His later live projects have included concerts with Young Lions and the recurring theatre program Swinging Christmas.
