Chris Kläfford in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

Chris Kläfford is a Swedish rock singer and songwriter born in Ramsberg in 1989. He won the 2017 season of Idol and later reached American television audiences on America’s Got Talent through his voice-and-guitar rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” His own songs include “Treading Water” and “Something Like Me.” Before Idol, Chris Kläfford spent years performing in bars and small venues around Sweden, developing the solo acoustic format heard in his television appearances. In 2019, he opened concerts for Gyllene Tider during the band’s farewell tour.
