Chris Moyles in Glasgow

Chris Moyles is an English radio and television presenter, DJ and comedy performer, born in Leeds in 1974. He is best known for hosting The Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1, including eight years on the breakfast programme, and later taking the show to Radio X. Comedy sketches, celebrity interviews and musical parodies have been central to his broadcasting. In 2012, he played King Herod in the arena production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar, appearing alongside Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Ben Forster. He also took his radio humour into UK theatres through Chris Moyles Live, a stage show built around stories, games and audience participation.
