Chris Turner is a British drummer and composer best known for his work with Birmingham metalcore band Oceans Ate Alaska. His solo music combines highly technical drumming with djent, funk, neo-soul and R&B, particularly on the album STEEZY and tracks such as “40 Roll” and “Triggered.” During the touring cycle for Oceans Ate Alaska’s Lost Isles, Turner performed across North America and appeared with the band on the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. His live history is rooted in the demanding drum parts he performs with Oceans Ate Alaska.
