Christian Ehring in Kiel

Christian Ehring is a German political cabaret performer, television presenter, author and musician, born in Rheinhausen in 1972. He has presented the satirical television programme Extra 3 since 2011 and has also appeared on the heute-show. His honours include the main prize at the 2018 Bayerischer Kabarettpreis and the 2019 Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis in the cabaret category. In 1989, Ehring co-founded the cabaret group Die Scheinheiligen. He joined the Kom(m)ödchen ensemble in Düsseldorf in 1998, contributing as a performer, writer and composer and also serving as artistic director. His solo theatre programmes include Anchorman, Keine weiteren Fragen, Antikörper and Stand jetzt.
