Christie Lenée is an American acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter known for fingerstyle playing, two-handed tapping and percussive guitar techniques. Her recordings include the albums Chasing Infinity, Stay and Coming Alive, while “Sterling Highway” is among her best-known instrumental pieces. In 2017, Christie Lenée won the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. She has also opened concerts for Tommy Emmanuel, performing solo sets built around guitar, voice, tapping and percussion on the instrument. Her concert credits include the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
