Christine and the Queens in Amsterdam

Christine and the Queens is the electronic pop project created in 2010 by Nantes-born French singer, songwriter and producer Rahim Redcar. The debut album Chaleur humaine introduced songs including “Saint Claude” and “Christine,” whose English-language version became “Tilted.” The albums Chris and Paranoïa, Angels, True Love later expanded the project’s art-pop catalogue. Christine and the Queens performed on Glastonbury’s Other Stage in 2016, combining a live band with tightly choreographed movement. The Chris Tour followed in 2018, and in 2023 the artist curated Meltdown at Southbank Centre and performed during the festival. In Paris, the project has headlined the Olympia music hall and the arena now called Accor Arena.
