Chuck Ragan in Newcastle upon Tyne

Chuck Ragan is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Houston in 1974 and known as a co-founder and co-lead vocalist of the punk band Hot Water Music. His solo work places his rough-edged voice in folk, Americana and acoustic rock; key releases include Feast or Famine, Gold Country, Covering Ground and Till Midnight. In 2008, Chuck Ragan founded the Revival Tour, a collaborative acoustic tour built around individual sets and ensemble performances. Its changing lineups included Brian Fallon, Dave Hause, Dan Andriano and Laura Jane Grace. He has also toured his solo catalog both acoustically and with his backing group, the Camaraderie.
