Cindy Blackman Santana in New York

Cindy Blackman Santana is an American drummer, vocalist, composer and bandleader, born in Yellow Springs, Ohio, in 1959. Working across jazz and rock, she is known for her long tenure as Lenny Kravitz’s touring drummer and for performing and recording with Santana. Her releases as a bandleader include Arcane, Another Lifetime and Give the Drummer Some. Cindy Blackman Santana toured extensively as Lenny Kravitz’s drummer. She has also led her own groups and performed in concert with Santana.
