City of the Sun in Vienna

City of the Sun is an American instrumental trio formed in 2011, built around two guitars and percussion. Their guitar-led post-rock draws on indie rock and flamenco rhythms; key recordings include the album “To the Sun and All the Cities” and the tracks “Everything” and “Second Sun.” The trio began by busking on streets and subway platforms before taking its two-guitar-and-percussion sets into clubs and theatres, including the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
