CKay is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer born Chukwuka Ekweani in Kaduna. He makes Afrobeats and R&B, and is best known for “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah),” first released in 2019 before finding a wider audience in 2021. His catalogue also includes “Emiliana” and the album Sad Romance. CKay performed at Coachella in 2022, bringing songs including “Love Nwantiti” and “Emiliana” to the festival. He later played headline dates built around his debut album on the Sad Romance Tour.
