Clemens Bittlinger in Melle

Clemens Bittlinger is a German Protestant pastor and singer-songwriter, born in Mannheim in 1959. He writes contemporary Christian songs in an acoustic folk style and is particularly known for “Aufstehn, aufeinander zugehn” and “Sei behütet,” both widely used in German church life. Clemens Bittlinger has spent decades performing in churches and at gatherings including the Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchentag. His concert programs combine songs with spoken reflections, often supported by longtime collaborators such as keyboardist David Plüss and percussionist Helmut Kandert.
