Climax Blues Band are a British blues-rock group formed in Stafford in 1967, originally under the name Climax Chicago Blues Band. Their best-known recordings include “Couldn't Get It Right” from the album Gold Plated and “I Love You” from Flying the Flag. Their 1973 concerts at the Academy of Music in New York were recorded for FM/Live, an early document of the group’s extended performances. Three years later, a televised Rockpalast appearance captured Climax Blues Band in Cologne.
