Clint Black is an American country singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in 1962 in Long Branch, New Jersey, and raised in the Houston area. His 1989 debut album, Killin’ Time, established his traditional country sound through songs including “A Better Man,” “Nobody’s Home” and the title track. His later recordings include “Like the Rain” and “Nothin’ but the Taillights.” In 1991, Clint Black became a member of the Grand Ole Opry and has performed there repeatedly since. The Still... Killin’ Time 30th Anniversary Tour revisited his debut album in 2019, followed by Mostly Hits & The Mrs., a concert tour featuring his wife Lisa Hartman Black and their daughter Lily Pearl Black. In 2024, he marked another album milestone with the Killin’ Time 35th Anniversary Tour.

Midland is an American country trio formed in Dripping Springs, Texas, in 2016 by Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy. Their honky-tonk sound reached a broad audience through “Drinkin’ Problem,” followed by songs including “Burn Out” and “Mr. Lonely” and the albums On the Rocks and Let It Roll. After opening dates on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul World Tour, Midland mounted their first headlining run, the Electric Rodeo Tour, in 2018. The Let It Roll Tour followed in 2019, and the trio later returned to theatres and country venues on The Last Resort Tour and the Up in Texas Tour. Festival appearances have included Stagecoach in California and C2C: Country to Country in London.
