Clive Carroll in Spires

Clive Carroll is an English fingerstyle guitarist and composer who plays acoustic music shaped by folk and classical traditions. His solo recordings include the albums Sixth Sense, The Red Guitar and Life in Colour, combining original compositions with arrangements of traditional material. John Renbourn invited Clive Carroll to tour after hearing Sixth Sense, beginning a live association that included concerts as a duo. He later opened for and toured with Tommy Emmanuel in Europe, North America and Australia, while his own shows have centred on solo acoustic-guitar performances.
