Dingo in Helsinki

Dingo is a Finnish pop-rock band formed in Pori in 1982, led by singer and songwriter Pertti Neumann. The group became known for songs including “Levoton tuhkimo,” “Autiotalo” and “Nahkatakkinen tyttö,” and for the albums Nimeni on Dingo and Kerjäläisten valtakunta. In 1985, Dingo toured Finland during the fan phenomenon known as Dingomania. The band’s original run ended with a farewell concert at Tuiskula in Nivala in 1986, but it reunited in 1993 and later lineups returned to the stage under the leadership of Pertti Neumann.
