Cocoon in Geneva

Cocoon is a French indie-folk project founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 2006 by singer-songwriter Mark Daumail. Its best-known early lineup paired him with Morgane Imbeaud, whose close vocal harmonies shaped the debut album My Friends All Died in a Plane Crash and songs including “On My Way” and “Chupee.” The follow-up Where the Oceans End continued the group’s acoustic folk-pop sound. Back to Panda Mountains documented Cocoon’s 2009 hometown concert at La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand. The group subsequently toured Where the Oceans End through French theatres, including a performance at L’Olympia in Paris.
