Cody Johnson in Tacoma

Cody Johnson is an American country singer-songwriter from Sebastopol, Texas, born in 1987. A former rodeo rider who first released music independently, he is known for the songs “’Til You Can’t,” “On My Way to You” and “The Painter,” as well as the albums Ain’t Nothin’ to It, Human: The Double Album and Leather. Johnson built his audience by playing Texas dance halls and rodeos while releasing albums through his own label. A sold-out performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo marked a major step in that history, and his later headline schedule expanded into arenas, including Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Terri Clark is a Canadian country singer and songwriter, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, in 1968. Her self-titled debut album introduced songs including “Better Things to Do” and “When Boy Meets Girl”; later releases produced “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “You’re Easy on the Eyes,” “I Just Wanna Be Mad” and “Girls Lie Too.” Clark made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 1995 and became an Opry member in 2004. She later opened arena dates on Reba McEntire’s 2022 tour, then returned to Canada for the co-headlining Homecoming ’23 Tour with Paul Brandt.
