Colour Revolt is an American indie rock band from Oxford, Mississippi, formed by college students from Jackson and Oxford. The musicians previously performed as Fletcher and took their new name from Edwin Abbott’s novel Flatland. Their self-titled EP received a national reissue in 2006, followed by the albums Plunder, Beg and Curse and The Cradle. Colour Revolt opened for Brand New on a five-week national tour and also toured with Dinosaur Jr., Okkervil River, Menomena, Explosions in the Sky and Manchester Orchestra. The band’s festival appearances include SXSW.
As Cities Burn is an American Christian post-hardcore band formed in Louisiana in 2002. As Cities Burn built an early following through extensive U.S. touring and appeared on the Warped Tour. In 2006, the band toured with Underoath and Poison the Well, then played the House of Blues in New Orleans on August 19.
