Artist
Bosquito is a Romanian rock band formed in Brașov in 1999 by singer Radu Almășan. Its songs draw on Latin and Balkan rhythms, and the band is known for tracks including “Pepita,” “Hopa Hopa,” “Două mâini” and “Marcela.” Bosquito opened Shakira’s 2006 concert in Timișoara. After a period away from the stage, the band resumed performing and marked its 20th anniversary with a 2019 concert at Sala Palatului in Bucharest.
