Consider the Source in Croton-on-Hudson

Consider the Source is an American instrumental trio formed in New York City in 2004. They play progressive rock and jazz fusion shaped by heavy riffs, improvisation and Middle Eastern musical ideas. Their catalog includes the multipart World War Trio and the album You Are Literally a Metaphor. Consider the Source documented its concert repertoire on F**k It! We’ll Do It Live. The trio later brought its extended instrumental pieces to Summer Camp Music Festival and The Peach Music Festival, while club dates included Brooklyn Bowl. They perform as a three-piece and leave room for improvisation within composed material. The core setup features Gabriel Marin on double-neck guitar, John Ferrara on bass and Jeff Mann on drums and percussion.
