Corey Smith in Birmingham

Corey Smith is an American country and folk-rock singer-songwriter born in Jefferson, Georgia, in 1979. He built his catalog around autobiographical songs about youth, relationships and small-town life, including “Twenty-One,” “If I Could Do It Again” and “Maybe Next Year.” His albums include The Good Life, Keeping Up with the Joneses and While the Gettin’ Is Good. The concert album Live in Chattanooga documents his road show through material from his independent releases. He has maintained close ties to the Athens music scene and has returned for headline performances at the Georgia Theatre.
