Corey Taylor in Las Vegas

Corey Taylor is an American singer and songwriter, born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1973. He is best known as the lead vocalist of Slipknot and Stone Sour, appearing on songs including “Duality,” “Before I Forget” and “Through Glass.” His solo catalogue began with CMFT, which included “Black Eyes Blue,” and continued with CMF2. In 2016, Taylor recorded an acoustic solo performance at the KOKO nightclub in London, later released as Live in London. He launched CMFT in 2020 through the livestreamed Forum or Against ’Em performance at The Forum in Los Angeles, backed by a full rock band. A US run under the CMFTour name followed in 2021, while theatres and larger concert halls formed the route for the CMF2 Tour in 2023.
