About Cornelia Jakobs
Cornelia Jakobs is a Swedish pop singer-songwriter born in 1992. She was a member of the girl group Love Generation before pursuing a solo career, and is best known for “Hold Me Closer,” which won Melodifestivalen and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
In 2022, Cornelia Jakobs won the Melodifestivalen final at Friends Arena in Stockholm, then performed at Eurovision in Turin’s PalaOlimpico and finished fourth. She returned to the contest stage in 2023, singing “I Turn to You” during the Liverpool Songbook interval performance in Liverpool.
