About KAJ
KAJ is a Finnish comedy and music trio formed in Vörå in 2009 by Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård. Performing largely in the local Swedish dialect, they write comic songs that draw on pop, rap and schlager. “Bara bada bastu” won Melodifestivalen 2025 and took them to the Eurovision Song Contest as Sweden’s representatives.
At Wasa Teater, KAJ created and performed the musicals Gambämark and Botnia Paradise, extending their stage work beyond concerts into theatre. They later performed in the Melodifestivalen final at Strawberry Arena in Solna before taking “Bara bada bastu” to the Eurovision final in Basel.
