Cory Wong in Villeurbanne

Cory Wong is an American guitarist, songwriter and producer who plays rhythm-driven funk and jazz fusion. He is known for his solo work, including the albums Motivational Music for the Syncopated Soul and Power Station, and for performing with Vulfpeck and the Fearless Flyers. In 2019, Cory Wong performed with Vulfpeck at Madison Square Garden, a concert released as Live at Madison Square Garden. He later brought his own ensemble to the Montreux Jazz Festival, documenting the performance on a concert release. Working out of Minneapolis, he has taken his band well beyond Minnesota; his live catalog includes performances recorded in Amsterdam and London.
